ESFP'S HISTORY
 
Five Ethiopian-Americans met in Washington, DC in November 2015, to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities Ethiopian-Americans face in the accounting and finance profession. In that year, there was no well-established professional society that addresses the concerns of Ethiopian-American accountants and finance professionals in the United States, specially to the new comers in the profession. That meeting gave birth to ESFP to address the concerns of Ethio-American finance professionals and create a network of professionals to share valuable information.
